Illness report: The hyperglycemias problem started 8 years ago causing tiredness, physic and mental tiredness, desire to sleep, headaches, thirst, unusual sexual appetite that annoyed her normal performance on her sportive routines. So she went to the doctor. The normal exams showed unusual levels of glycemias for her age and physical condition so she tried a glucose tolerant exam, which was positive. She affirms having personal problems that time.
Since then, she registered moderate diabetes, which was controlled with diet and medicines. Then, the glycemias could have keep regular levels just with diets.
However, last September, she had pains on her hands and feet. In December, she had fever as part of a case similar to influenza viruses. On the lab exams, they observed a moderate decrease of haemoglobin. She was diagnosed urinary infection. At that time, the patient had light jaundice as they performed analysis of hepatic "seric transaminasas" (GOT/GTP) which were negative. However, the levels of glycemias were between 125-150 mg on this period. The highest point of glycemias happened this January with 300 mg registered. Apparently, there was not any reason.
